Morning Musume 20th – Ai no Tane (20th Anniversary Ver.)

The original members of Morning Musume met (eighteen years later) to perform a new version of their first single, Ai no Tane (愛の種 ; seeds of love), with current members of Morning Musume. ’17. This new version is titled Ai no Tane (20th Anniversary Ver.) and will be released on November 3, 2017, in digital format, on iTunes.

This special sub-unit is named « Morning Musume. 20th », to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this song and the group.

Kudo Haruka (Photobook)

Kudo Haruka Photobook (工藤遥)The new photobook of Kudo Haruka (Morning Musume ’17) will be released on October 27.

The self-titled photoook will be the last photobook of Kudo Haruka to be released under Hello! Project. Indeed, Haru-chan will graduate from Morning Musume. ’17 and Hello! Project on December 11.

The photos were shot by Honda Akiko.

The covers show Kudo Haruka wearing a seifuku and a bikini.

Morning Musume '17 - Jama Shinaide Here We Go! / Dokyuu no Go Sign / Wakaindashi!Morning Musume ’17 will release their new single Jama Shinaide Here We Go! / Dokyuu no Go Sign / Wakaindashi! (邪魔しないで Here We Go! / 弩級のゴーサイン / 若いんだし!) on October 4th.

It is the 64th single of the Hello! Project idol group. It has a triple A-side.

Morito Chisato appears for the first time on this disc as a 14th generation member of Morning Musume.

Kudo Haruka, meanwhile, will make her last appearance with the idol group on this single.

Morning Musume ’17 20th Anniversary Concert

Morning Musume '17 (モーニング娘。'17)

Morning Musume ’17 announced that they will hold a special concert to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the idol group.

Though this announcement was made in early August ; the concert will take place on September 14 at Shinkiba STUDIO COAST.

For this concert, the fans could vote for their favorite songs of Morning Musume and the combination of members that they want to perform these songs ; the voting period ran until August 14, and tickets went on sale on August 19.

A lot of changes within Hello! Project

Hello! ProjectSeveral announcements about Hello! Project were made during the months of June and July.

Its main idol groups Morning Musume ’17, Juice=Juice, ANGERME and Country Girls changed their lineup.

In parallel with their activities under Country Girls, Morito Chisaki is now part of the Morning Musume ’17 as a 14th generation member, Yanagawa Nanami is a member of Juice=Juice, and Funaki Musubu will be part of ANGERME.

Along with these announcements, it was announced that 3 members of the Hello! Pro Kenshuusei who were going to start in Hello! Project : Danbara Ruru is part of the Juice=Juice and Kawamura Ayano is will a member of ANGERME. These members started their activities during the Hello! Project Summer Concert Tour.

Ishikawa Rika (ex Morning Musume) got married

Ishikawa Rika (石川梨華)The former Hello! Project and Morning Musume idol, Ishikawa Rika, announced her marriage to a professional baseball player, Nogami Ryoma.

Her husband Nogami Ryoma plays on the Seibu Lions team as a pitcher.

The couple had already announced their intent to marriage since the beginning of the year and gets together since 2014. The papers for their marriage will be made official on March 13.

Morning Musume '17 - Brand New Morning / Jealousy JealousyThe single Brand New Morning / Jealousy Jealousy (BRAND NEW MORNING / ジェラシー ジェラシー) of Morning Musume ’17 will be released on March 8.

This is the 63rd single from the idol group of Hello! Project.

The 13th generation members, Kaga Kaede and Yokoyama Reina, make their first appearance on this single. However, when the single recording, Masaki Sato was absent for medical reasons but participated in recording of B-side songs only (from special edition) ; she doesn’t appear on most single covers.
