Morning Musume ’18 will release their 66th single Furari Ginza / Jiyuu na Kuni Dakara (フラリ銀座／自由な国だから) will be released on October 24th.
Iikubo Haruna will make her last appearance with Morning Musume ’18 on this single because she will graduate in December.

All current idol groups from Hello! Project get together for a new single to be released on September 26th.
It is entitled Yeah Yeah Yeah / Akogare no Stress-free / Hana, Takenawa no Toki (YEAH YEAH YEAH/憧れのStress-free/花、闌の時).
This is the 2nd single after the single All For One & One For All ! (with the first idol groups from H!P) released in 2004.
Iikubo Haruna announced that she will be graduating from Morning Musume ’18 and Hello! Project at the end of the year.
This announcement made on the Hello! Project, Iikubo Haruna mentioned that, during the idol group’s 20th anniversary celebration, she began to think more about her future. In order to achieve her goals and surpass herself, she decided to leave Morning Musume ’18 and Hello! Project but expressed interest in staying in the entertainment industry while performing solo arts-related activities.
Morning Musume ’18 will participate in Anisong World Matsuri in New York.
Anime NYC powered by Crunchyroll announced the globally renowned Anisong World Matsuri concert series will host its first edition in New York City in partnership with Anime NYC on November 16 and 17, 2018.
Anisong World Matsuri NYC brings together headlining Japanese pop stars for show-stopping concerts. It will feature major performances from Morning Musume ’18, Haruna Luna, Nakagawa Shoko, and more for two nights in New York’s historic Hammerstein Ballroom.

The new soundtrack by Michishige Sayumi (ex-Morning Musume) was released on July 4th.
It is entitled “SAYUMINGLANDOLL -Shukumei-” Original Soundtrack (「SAYUMINGLANDOLL～宿命～」オリジナルサウンドトラック) and this is the second soundtrack from a solo performance Michishige Sayumi.
It follows the success of SAYUMINGLANDOLL ~Saisei~ in 2017. It takes place from 20 March to 8 July 2018 at the Cotton Club in Tokyo and Osaka STUDIO PARTITA.
Morning Musume ’18 will release their new single on June 13th.
It’s intitled Are You Happy? / A gonna and he is the 65th single of the idol group.
Ogata Haruna, will make her last appearance with Morning Musume ’18 on this single because she will graduate at the end of June.

Ogata Haruna announced on March 27 her future graduation from Morning Musume ’18 and Hello! Project
According to her, she decided to leave the group to devote herself entirely to her university studies. She commented that she feels unable to pursue her dreams of attending university in parallel with her idol activities, so she decided to graduate from the group.

Former Morning Musume member and former idol of Hello! Project, Fukuda Asuka, released her first solo album Sing on March 14th.
In this single, she also sings a Morning Musume song entitled Never Forget (single from their 1999 album Second Morning).
The special unit Morning Musume 20th is back for a mini album Hatachi no Morning Musume (二十歳のモーニング娘。).
It will be released on February 7th.
This mini album celebrates the 20th anniversary of Morning Musume.
