The drama Tank Top Fighter (タンクトップファイター) starring Ono Erena (ex AKB48) and Kawashima Umika (9nine) was released on DVD on September 6.
Tank Top Fighter is a action / suspense drama. Ono Erena plays the role of college student named Kai. Kawashima Umika plays her sister Riku.
Kai and Riku become bounty hunters chasing after 4 criminals in order to free their father who was arrested for murder and robbery.
The theme song Fighting Hero (ファイティング☆ヒーロー) is performed by Ono Erena.
Kawashima Umika in the drama Pin to Kona
Kawashima Umika (9nine) will be starring in the drama Pin to Kona (ぴんとこな).
Pin to Kona is based on the manga of the same name by Shimaki Ako published on the monthly Japanese shoujo manga magazine Cheese!.
The drama will start airing in July. It will be broadcast every Thursday evening at 21:00 on TBS.
Tamamori Yuta (Kis-My-Ft2), Nakayama Yuma (NYC), Matsumura Hokuto and Jesse (Johnny’s Jr) will also play in the series.

The Blu-ray box set includes all 11 episodes of the drama. It comes with a bonus disc featuring making-of.

Kawashima Umika (9nine) in Hotel Transylvania
Kawashima Umika (9nine) will voice the character of Mavis (メイヴィス) in the animated movie Hotel Transylvania (モンスター・ホテル).
Mavis is Dracula’s teenage daughter and the film’s heroine. This role is played by Selena Gomez in the US version.
The movie is released in theaters on September 29 in Japan and on September 28 in USA.

Kawashima Umika’s (9nine) photobook Umi Kore ~Kawashima Umika Actress Collection~ (うみコレ。 ～川島海荷 Actress Collection～) will be released on September 27.
The photobook will show the evolution of Kawashima Umika during the past 2 years and a half. It will also include a long interview.
