FES☆TIVE - Yamato Nadeshiko Sunrise

FES☆TIVE are back with a new line-up and a new single Yamato Nadeshiko Sunrise (大和撫子サンライズ) to be released on May 23rd.

This is the 6th single by the festive idol group.

New members of the unit (Manami Marika, Kondo Saeko and Doko Ruriko) make their first appearance on this single. They replaced Sakamoto Yuna, Suzuki Kotone and Suzuki Mitsuki who graduated from FES☆TIVE in March.

FES☆TIVE – Oidemase!! ~Gokuraku~

FES☆TIVE will release their new single Oidemase!! ~Gokuraku~ (OIDEMASE!! ～極楽～).

It will be on sale on November 29th.

The song Oidemase!! ~Gokuraku~ will be the opening theme song of the TV programm Tokyo Idol Sensen. The music and lyrics of the song were made by Imakisaka.

The short version of the MV was unveiled.

FES☆TIVE - Brand New FES☆TIVE #BNF0903Matsuri-themed idol unit FES☆TIVE held their live performance Brand New FES☆TIVE #BNF0903 at Akasaka BLITZ on September 3rd.

The summer of 2017 has been one of success after success, with appearances in three major music festivals: Tokyo Idol Festival, @JAM EXPO 2017, and Idol Yokocho Natsu Matsuri!! 2017. Compared to previous years, FES☆TIVE has performed on more stages and more major venues; their effort, drive, and perseverance are obvious.

FES☆TIVE – Go to Fes☆

FES☆TIVE - Go to Fes☆FES☆TIVE will release their new single Go to Fes☆ (ゴートゥーフェス☆) on July 26.

This is the 5th single of the idol group.

Shiraishi Piano and Mano Saria make their first appearance on a record of FES☆TIVE. They joined the group on January 19 but did not participate in the recording of the single Disco Rettou Ukiyo no Yume released in February ; they replaced members Shiina Akari and Yokoi Honami who graduated in January.

The short version of the MV was unveiled.

FES☆TIVE tried their hand at gravure modeling

Girls GravureIn April, 4 out of 8 members of idol unit FES☆TIVE tried their hand at gravure modeling.

FES☆TIVE evokes visions of the group’s energetic live performance which have taken the idol scene by storm. However, in 2017, we shift our focus to the lives of the individual members as they pose for gravure photos.

The 4 FES☆TIVE members who have forayed into the world of gravure idols are Aoba Hinari, Sakamoto Yuna, Suzuki Kotone, and Shiraishi Piano.

Aoba Hinari (青葉ひなり) - FES☆TIVE - PhotobookAoba Hinari of matsuri-themed idol unit FES☆TIVE is featured in her 1st photobook, Hinari to Yukigeshiki to Yukemuri (ひなりと雪景色と湯けむり ; Hinari, Snowy Scenes, and Onsen Steam) published on April 4.

The photos include backdrops of snowboarding, sleighs, snowpeople, and winter scenes, as well as Aoba Hinari dressed in a yukata and soaking in hot springs.

This single will be released on February 22

FES☆TIVE – Ora Tokyo Sa Iguda

Aoba Hinari (青葉ひなり) - FES☆TIVEFES☆TIVE released the cover of Ikuzo Yoshi’s hit song Ora Tokyo Sa Iguda (俺ら東京さ行ぐだ) on November 25 on Recochoku and iTunes. The original track was released on the same date, November 25, in 1984.

It is also worth noting that each of the FES☆TIVE members (excluding Yokoi Honami) poses for a parody jacket photo on Recochoku.

FES☆TIVE in Indonesia

FES☆TIVE in IndonesiaFES☆TIVE, who released their first album Wasshoi Record on July 27, have begun skyrocketing. A matsuri-themed idol group, they rose to stardom via YouTube, receiving offers to perform at Japan Festivals in Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong. They appeared on popular SCTV program, Inbox, and as the main act of The University of Indonesia’s Japan Fest, Gelar Jepang UI 22.
