The character design is based on the members of the idol metal band.

4 members will graduate from Sakura Gakuin

Sakura Gakuin (さくら学院)Four members will graduate from Sakura Gakuin on next March 29.

These members are Mizuno Yui, Kikuchi Moa, Taguchi Hana and Notsu Yunano.

Kikuchi Moa is the 4th Student Council President and Mizuno Yui is Vice President. They currently are the eldest members of Sakura Gakuin and are part of the 2nd generation. They are also members of the former Sakura Gakuin’s sub-unit Babymetal and the other sub-unit Mini-Patissier along with Taguchi Hana.

Babymetal World Tour 2015

Babymetal Concert in Paris France [Live report]

Babymetal World Tour 2014 in Paris FranceBabymetal World  Tour 2014 started with a concert at La Cigale, Paris, France on July 1.

Babymetal‘s live performance was a great success, proving that the Japanese group became popular in foreign countries.

Yuimetal celebrated her 15th birthday during this event.

Babymetal will be at Summer Sonic again this year

Babymetal World Tour 2014Babymetal will perform at the Summer Sonic 2014 festival in August, being this their second appearance in this event after last year’s performances at the Rainbow and Flower stage. But this year they will be at the second biggest scenery, the Mountain Stage of both Tokyo and Osaka the 16th and 17th of August respectively. These two dates has been added to their Babymetal World Tour 2014 schedule.
