So Long! drama starring AKB48 will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 28.
The DVD and the Blu-ray box sets include the 3 episodes of the drama. They also contain a bonus disc featuring making-of, promotional spots, and more.
The regular edition comes with a 12-page booklet and a poster.
The limited editions have a special package featuring members from Team A (Shinoda Mariko, Watanabe Mayu), Team K (Oshima Yuko, Matsui Jurina), or Team B (Kojima Haruna, Shimazaki Haruka). They include a 48-page booklet, 4 posters, and a replica of the script of one of the 3 stories.

So Long! drama starring AKB48 will be aired on February 11-13 on NTV (Nippon Television).
This is a 3 episode drama.
Team A episode is centered on Shinoda Mariko and Watanabe Mayu as ballerinas in a ballet school.
Team K episode focuses on a sister rivalry between Oshima Yuko and Matsui Jurina.
Team B episode is featuring Kojima Haruna and Shimazaki Haruka as teacher and student.
AKB48’s 30th single So Long! will be released on January 30.
The series will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 28.

AKB48 will release 20 albums from Studio Recordings Collection (studio recordings コレクション) on January 1.
This series of albums contains songs from AKB48 based on the setlist of each stage held at their theater. All songs were remastered.
The albums include a bonus CD featuring karaoke versions.

Masuda Yuka announced her withdrawal from AKB48.
She explained on her blog that she leaves the group due the publication of an article in a magazine reporting that she stayed overnight at the home of Da Pump member Issa, which is not allowed for her as an idol.
Masuda Yuka joined AKB48 in 2006. She was part of Team K and AKB48’s subunit DiVA.

AKB48 Zenkoku Tour 2012 Team K in Okinawa (AKB48全国ツアー2012沖縄公演) is released on DVD on November 22.
The concert is part of AKB48 Nationwide Tour 2012 Nonaka Misato Ugoku ~47 Todoufuken de Aimashou~ (AKB48全国ツアー2012 野中美郷、動く。〜47都道府県で会いましょう〜).
The DVD also includes making-of footage.
The live was held in Okinawa on July 22.

Mitsumune Kaoru announced her graduation from AKB48.
She took her decision to leave the group because of health problems.
Mitsumune Kaoru had joined AKB48 in 2011 as a 13th generation Kenkyuusei. She was part of Team K since the last team shuffle in August.

AKB48 announced a team shuffle.
Team 4 is discontinued. Teams A, K and B have been completely reorganized.
Some members leave the group : Ōta Aika was transferred to HKT48, Takajō Aki and Nakagawa Haruka to JKT48, Miyazawa Sae and Mariya Suzuki to SNH48.
Takahashi Minami is still the leader of AKB48. However the new captains are Shinoda Mariko (Team A), Ōshima Yūko (Team K) and Umeda Ayaka (Team B).
