AKB48 – Kimi wa Melody

AKB48 - Kimi wa Melody (君はメロディ)The new single of AKB48 Kimi wa Melody (君はメロディー) will be on sale on March 9.

This is the 43rd single of the idol group. It celebrates for the second time the 10th anniversary of the group (after the recent release of a compilation album in last November).

For this occasion, some former members such as the popular Maeda Atsuko, Itano Tomomi, Shinoda Mariko and Oshima Yuko make a brilliant appearance on the covers of singles and the clip. Although they have not participated in the recording of the single in its entirety, they perform the title track.

This is the major debut single of Batten Show Jo Tai under Victor Entertainment’s label Colourful Records.

The MV and the new costumes of the members of the idol group have been unveiled.

Shirai to graduate from Jyujyu

In the MV, the girls going back home after school. As the title suggests, they are eating taiyaki, crying, and walking in the rain with an umbrella. It also includes dance scenes.

FES☆TIVEFES☆TIVE‘s new single Susume Zipangu (進めジパング) will be released on March 16th.

It is a catchy song whose theme is “from festive Japan to the World”. The lyrics include words such as “sushi” or “samurai” which symbolize the Land of the Rising Sun.
