i☆Ris – Shining Star

The new single of i☆Ris Shining Star was released on March 8.

This is the 14th single of the idol group.

Shining Star is used as a new opening theme song for the TV anime series PriPara.

AKB48 – Shoot Sign

AKB48 will release their 47th single Shoot Sign (シュートサイン) on March 15 .

The central member is Kojima Haruna. This is the last appearance of 1st generation member Kojiharu with the famous idol group, since Kojima Haruna graduated from AKB48 and held a last concert with AKB48 on last February 22. She also performs a solo song on this single.

The title song is used as the theme song of the drama Tofu Pro Wrestling in which plays Kojima and some AKB48 members .

Honda Kanako, new member of Pottya

Pottya welcomed a new member to their group, Honda Kanako (本多加奈子).

After the departure of Takahashi Yuka in February 2016 and that of Yokokawa Mai in July 2016, the chubby girl group decided to recruit new members this year. Kanako joined the unit on February 24th.

Pink Babies – UFO

Pink Babies released their new single UFO on February 15.

This is a cover of the single of the same name of the Pink Lady released in 1977. Pink Babies, their sister group, usually cover their songs.

Fairies – Synchronized

The new single of Fairies Synchronized ～シンクロ～ was released on March 1st.

This is the 14th single of Fairies.

The group began in 2017 as a 5-member unit. Indeed, the single is the first of the idol group without Fujita Miria who left Fairies last January to devote herself to her studies. She also left the M Three, the Fairies sub-unit.

BiSH – Promise the Star

The new single of BiSH entitled Promise the Star (プロミスザスター) will be released on March 22.

This is the 2nd major label single by BiSH.

The MV was directed by Tanabe Hidenobu, who previously worked with rock bands. The clip of Promise the Star focuses on the story of a schoolgirl played by the model Tanaka Makoto walking in Shibuya neighborhood, scene that is found in the music video Hontou Honki. She teleports to a bridge and begins to run, finally reaching in a heliport where BiSH was performing, attracted by the beams of light shining in the sky.
