Former AKB48 member Maeda Atsuko will be starring in the drama Asaki Yumemishi ~Yaoya Oshichi Ibun (あさきゆめみし ～八百屋お七異聞).
The story takes place in the Edo period. Maeda Atsuko plays the role of Oshichi, a girl falling in love with a page at a temple where she evacuated to after a great fire. After this event, she is accused of having caused another fire to meet him again…
Asaki Yumemishi ~Yaoya Oshichi Ibun will start airing on September 19. The drama will be broadcast every Thursday at 20:00 on NHK.
