Kiss Bee is a Japanese idol group formed in 2014.
There are also 3 sister groups : Kiss Bee West, Zero and Jr.
The leader is Otawa Sakura.
Takano Hina is the center.
Biography / History
Kiss Bee was created in April 2014. The original members were selected from Charm Up Girls site. They were junior amateur models for the magazine of the same name.
The regular live show Girls Theater is performed monthly since May 2014.
Nakayama Seika, Hieda Chihiro and Takatsuji Chinatsu were recruited as 1.5 generation members in August 2014.
Kiss Bee West was founded in October 2014 in order to expand activities outside Tokyo. This sister unit is active in Kansai area. They held their 1st live in November 2014.
Otawa Sakura and Yamaguchi Ruri debuted as kenkyuusei (trainees) in October 2014.
Kiss Bee’s debut single Dorudarake no Hana (泥だらけの花) was released in November 2014. It was only on sale at venues and online.
The programme Road to Kiss Bee, broadcast on Wallop in December 2014, was about the 2.5 generation auditions.
Otawa Sakura and Yamaguchi Ruri were promoted as regular members in December 2014.
Kiss Bee’s 1st one-man live Ookina Kansha to Chiisana Ippo (大きな感謝と小さな一歩) was held in January 2015 at Ruido K2. The event was sold out.
Their 2nd single Michirube wa Ao / Sotsugyou no Sora (道しるべは青 / 卒業の空) was released in April 2015.
Ishii Miona, Oe Rena, Tanifuji Misaki, Maeda Rion and Ryutani Sena joined the idol group as 3rd generation members in April 2015.
Asahina Miku went on hiatus in order focus on studies in April 2015.
Kansei Hieda Chihiro and Tatsuji Chinatsu, who were living in Kansai, were transferred to Kiss Bee West in May 2015.
Kiss Bee Zero was created in July 2015. Takano Hina moved to this unit. Tanifuji Misaki and her were promoted as regular members at the same period of time.
RaMu, Hirayama Hana and Ishizuka Momoka were recruited in July 2015. They debuted as part of Kiss Bee Zero.
Kiss Bee Jr. was formed in September 2015.
The single Hoho de Sagasu Anata no Onsen (頬で探すあなたの温度) ranked 14th on the Oricon weekly chart in November 2015.
Yasuda Noa, Aikawa Usaki, Chinone Satono, Kannari Mirai and Takano Ryo became new members in December 2015.
Kiss Bee’s 1st album Shiroi Hana (白い花) was released in December 2015.
In January 2016, Ishizuka Momoka went on hiatus in order to prepare for the university entrance exams. She resumed activities in March 2016.
Asahina Miku and Ryutani Sena announced their graduation in March 2016.
Oe Rena and Mochizuki Non were promoted in March 2016.
Kiss Bee will hold their a live at Zepp Tokyo in July 2016.
